Important parental information for those attending trip to Breckenhill Activity Centre

  • DATE: Saturday 17th June 2017.
  • PARENT DROP OFF: 10am at 45 Breckenhill Road, Doagh, Ballyclare, BT39 0TB.  (Google directions if unsure – 10/15 mins from Parkgate village). Link to google maps
  • CLOTHING: Old clothing and trainers (plus one complete change of more old clothes/trainers!).  All activities are outside, so warm clothing if needed and sun lotion, depending on the weather on the day.
  • LUNCH: Lunch will be provided as well as refreshments throughout the day.  Please ensure we are aware of any allergies.
  • PARENT PICK-UP: 4pm at Breckenhill.
  • YOUTH CLUB CONTACT: Brendan – 07801 385416.

Due to the nature of the activities it’s likely that the kids (and probably the leaders!) will get wet and/or muddy.  NB: Although the paint used in the junior paintballing should be washable, it can’t be absolutely guaranteed so old clothes that don’t matter are a must!  We also need to be aware of any non-swimmers for the raft building.

If you haven’t yet returned your completed consent/medical emergency form, please do so as soon as possible as no-one will be permitted to take part without.

Important dates to remember

Please note there will be a short break to club nights over Easter. We are here as usual on 7th April, no club night on 21st April, back again on 28th April and then fortnightly thereafter right through to 9th June. We’ll be finishing the season off with a trip to Breckenhill activity centre on Saturday 17th June.

Trip to Breckenhill activity centre, Doagh, Ballyclare

Saturday 17th June 2017

This year’s end of season trip for our members will be to Breckenhill Activity Centre. As its a local venue, we will be asking parents to drop-off and pick-up direct to/from the centre. This promises to be a fun-packed full day (10am to 4pm) including the following activities: giant catapults, raft-building, junior paintball, trike karts, giant cube, earth ball, low ropes, traversing wall and more. A barbecue lunch and refreshments throughout the day will be provided.

We are asking for a £10 deposit from each member attending, with the remainder of the costs being met by the Youth Club. A parental consent form and further details will be sent out on receipt of the deposit.

If your child wishes to attend, please print out, complete and return the two PDFs linked here [ JUMP Summer Trip 2017 ] and here [Parental Consent Form], together with £10 deposit asap and no later than Friday 28th April.

Thank you.
